Computer forensic analysis is the science and the art of acquiring, searching and interpreting digital data for criminal, business or private lawsuits or for private purposes. This data could be evidence of criminal activity, violation of internal regulations or this data could be important for another reason and inaccessible in normal ways.
Forensically means that evidence is acquired, analysed and interpreted in a manner which could be presented and justified publically and is acceptable to a court of law.
